Lofton planned it out that he would join the National Honor Society his junior year so that he didn't have to do all the service hours his sophomore year. It was a great plan, but then he missed the memo about filling out an application his junior year, so he didn't get in till his senior year though he had the grades that he needed all along:) But he looked so handsome and got the recognition and the cords, which are all that really matters.
