Lofton's 19

The older they get the easier the celebrations get. Lofton did not want to celebrate his birthday. I wanted to get him and some friends to do something because he hasn't celebrated in years, but he is happy and content to get his favorite desserts and go to dinner. We went to Mexican with the Griffins and made Oreo icecream treat.

We are so proud of the young man he has grown to be. He has a new confidence and strength. He has a big heart for others. He has more patience than anyone I know. He doesn't let things get to him: I am so glad that he isn't like me with the sweating the small stuff. He is responsible and works hard as is evident in playing football, wrestling, and working this summer. He loves to fish and to hunt. He still loves  Twizzlers.  He is such a good boy who lives for Christ. We are proud.
