Church Camp - Inside Out

4th of July

As tradition- we spent the 4th with the Griffins which is what we have every year since we've known them minus last year when we were all out of town.  This year we went to Amy's and enjoyed some mud kickball, swimming, and Mark and Phillip's firework show.  It wasn't a gorgeous day, but we did get some breaks in the clouds and were able to stay outside the majority of the day.  

Baseball

Lofton ended his Dixie Youth career with a bang.  He played for Michael Illamrendi again this year, but instead of being the Pirates this year they changed their names to the Warriors.  They had a great season, and they finished first.  Lofton then made All Stars again this year- this was his third year to make All Stars and second year to play.  His team won Districts and advanced to state.  We went to Sweetwater to watch Lofton play.  Mimi and Pop Pop came too.  We had a lot of fun.  Lofton is really fun to watch.  He starts at second base and does a fantastic job.  We are so proud of him.  Hopefully, he isn't finished with baseball.  He'll try out for the Cougars this year.  :)
