Awards Days/ Jr. National Honor Society Induction

I am so proud of Lofton and Landon for both receiving a faculty award.  This award is chosen by the faculty and staff.  They look for students who carry out our school's mission, who influence other positively, who are respectful, and who do the right thing.  This award means more than any others.  Landon also was inducted into the Jr. National Honor Society this year.   

 

Discovery Park Field Trip

I chaperoned Levi's field trip to Discovery Park.  It was about an 1 1/2 away, but Levi enjoyed being with Frank.  We had to take Lofton's truck because I AGAIN got a flat tire the night before the trip.  The park was a neat place with lots to see and do.

Lofton and Jaron were tasked with making a big fishing lure. They waited till the last minute, but they didn't spend any money thanks to all the random art things I keep around here.  They did a good job and made an A.  

 

Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts

Levi has participated in Cub Scouts for the past four years.  We love Ms. Beth and Levi loves the Derby and hiking and camping, but after his cross over, he went to a few meetings and decided he didn't want to continue in Boy Scouts.  I hope that maybe he will decide to pick it back up soon.
