I had thought I would be in Arkansas on Saturday, August 19th, but since Lofton's days were packed full of things to do we left Friday night to go to Memphis to the game, and then we made it home for Levi's 13th birthday. We celebrated by eating Japanese food. He wanted to go to Hibachi and the place in Goodletsville was closed so we found one in Hendersonville then went to get ice cream at Dairy Queen. The next weekend, I let him have six boys spend the night to celebrate his 13th birthday; Teague, Frank, Luca, Jake, George Thomas, and Sawyer spent the night. The boys played basketball, watched Spider man, swam, and played video games. His friend Jake said the absolute sweetest prayer at dinner. Levi has good friends who made him feel very special.
At 13, we couldn't be more proud of the mature young man Levi is becoming. He loves the Lord and his brothers and family. He is starting to really like basketball, and he has a natural talent for the sport. He works hard in school. He loves spending time with his family playing games. He doesn't really like video games, which is very unlike his brothers. He does enjoy watching videos on his I pad. He keeps his room very neat and constantly cleans it and makes his bed every morning. He is the first one up each day, and he has productive mornings as he reads and makes his bed. He is such a good boy. We are blessed to be his parents.
