Levi's Double Digit Celebrations!

Levi turned double digits, and we celebrated double!  Mimi and Pop Pop came a few days before, so we went to eat Mexican and opened his gifts from them.  He also talked me into giving him his gift from us early; we bought him a scooter.  He picked it out, so he knew; I figured he may as well enjoy it.

Then on his actual bday, we had his cohorts (his class as they now refer to them since they are together and don't have to mask up) and his buddies Teague, Heath, and Carter over for a swim party.  It rained a bit as it always seems to do on his bday, but that didn't stop this crew from having fun.  Heath and Teague spent the night, and they celebrated the next day, too.

You only turn double digits once.  We are so proud of this big boy.  He is full of life, and keeps our home full of laughter as he is quite hilarious.  He loves the outdoors.  He loves to collect things- bones, arrow heads, sticks, and rocks.  He loves to be with Mr. Jones- especially when they enjoy slushies together.  He loves Legos and his Switch.  Most importantly, he loves his family and friends and God.

Dixie Chicken Eggs

The fruits of his labor paid off in August when his chickens started laying eggs.  He's in business now.  I am calling them his Dixie chickens.

Graduation Parties 2020

Because of #stupidCovid, most grad parties happened in August right before the graduates took off for college, so the weekend after the first day of school, I got to relax and celebrate Ella and Teddi- two of my faves.

First Days of School- Straight Outta Quarantine!

I don't know if we have ever been more excited to be going back to school.  Of course, it is going to look a little different, but we are so ecstatic to be back to school and praying we make it to May.  Levi was so glad to be back that the night after the first day of school, he laid out his clothes for the second day of school.   It was also so good to get back to see the students whom we left and didn't get to say good bye to.  Gracie Walz, one of my faves is doing remote schooling, but she came by to see me, and we got a pic on the Friends couch with the Friends cup that she bought me.
