Lofton's senior wrestling season, Landon's freshman season was cut short for Lofton due to him tearing his labrum during football. He toughed it out during football and played hurt, but it was evident during his first wrestling match that it was going to be too painful to compete. We took him to Dr. Jones and MRI showed a tear. He got to wrestle about three matches but then had surgery on December 22nd. The surgery took longer than we were told, and when the doctor came to talk to me after surgery,he said he thought Lofton was torn from 3-6:00, but it was more like 3:00-9:00. He also had torn cartilage. Lofton did well and bounced back really quickly, but I hate he can't wrestle. He was soaking up his senior year.
