It wouldn't be the holidays to us anymore if we didn't participate in the food drive at school. Goodpasture helps provide food to over 30 local food banks. Our students work so hard to collect cans and to collect donations to buy food. This year was one of their biggest years to date. Also, our students all give money and each class sponsors a family for Christmas. My children also enjoy shopping with the sophomore class and delivering all we buy for them. It is truly the season for giving, and I am blessed to be a part of two great outreaches.
Lofton's basketball team also adopted a needy family and went shopping for them.
