CMAs

Well, Phillip scored all access passes to the CMAs again, and Amy and I went, but it took some pep talking to get us to go. It is hard to believe, but Amy wasn't feeling well, and I was swamped with school work, so we actually contemplated staying home, but Jonathan made fun of us and reminded us that we would kick ourselves the next day for not going, so we rallied and went. It was well worth it. It was a great show. My favorites besides seeing Hugh Jackman present were Kid Rock singing "All Summer Long" in his Titans jersey and of course, Kenny Chesney! We conveniently ran into Reece Witherspoon back stage, which we planned. We decided to leave as she was presenting so that we would just happen to be walking through back stage to get to our car as she was walking off the stage. It worked, but I knew then that Amy wasn't feeling well because her camera stayed in her purse. Last year she was incognito most of the night snapping pictures with her camera phone, and she couldn't resist asking Kenny for a picture with him, but this year, Reece stopped right in front of us to chat, and we both just stood there like a deer in the headlights.
