Lofton's Birthday

Lofton turned 15!  He is at the age where he really doesn't want to celebrate, but we had a little fun anyway.  We ate Mexican with him, Phillip, and Christopher since they all have June 19, June 20 bdays.  We drug Lofton to get his permit, and he passed and it only took 3 hours of sitting at the DMV- not the best way to spend your birthday I guess.  Mimi and Pop Pop came the weekend before and gave him his fishing pole.

Since he isn't too into parties, he did mention to me once that he just wanted to ride roller coasters, so we have a trip planned to Kings Island with the Griffins for his bday.

Lofton, at 15, you have the most compassionate heart for others.  Lottie and Kellie continuously comment about how great you are with Logan and the little kids at church.  You are so mature for your age and always help others at church and speak to the adults.  You are smart and can make great grades with little effort.  You are like your dad in that you have a lot of information stored in that big brain of yours.  You retain things you read or see; I wish I had that kind of mind.  You are passionate about things you love- fishing and football.  You are a good big brother to Levi.  You love the Lord and it is evident in how you carry yourself.  I am proud that you are you- you don't try to do what you think others expect of you to fit in.  That in my book is way cool and shows your confidence and shows that God is your number one, not man.  We are so proud and love you very much.
