A few other things
I forgot to blog about a few of these other fun things we did in November and December. Here is a pic of my holiday baking helper, a pic of us shopping for our angels, and a pic of the boys at their first concert. Thomas Rhett graduated from Goodpasture, and he came back to put on a show to help raise money for Caleb Wilson. The boys had a great time, and they got to meet him.
Christmas Day
The boys couldn't contain their excitement, and they were up bright and early as usual on Christmas morning. However, as usual Levi slept, and they had to wake him up. He wasn't happy about it, but soon started joining in the festivities. They had a great Christmas and got everything they wanted.
We enjoyed our lazy Christmas day. I was so unbelievably tired that I just sat around in the mess and then even took a nap with Levi. We spent the evening at Heather and Chad's with the McConnells. It was a wonderful Christmas day.
Till Next Year, Yogurt!
Yogurt, our elf, has been visiting us since about 2008, and the boys just love waking up every morning to find him. Since he's been with us so many years, he is running out of fun things to do, but he still somehow manages to come up with some great ideas! :) The only bad idea he has this year was to hold Levi's football. Snot, fists, and tears flew as Levi tried to get his football while Lofton and Landon tried to keep him from touching poor Yogurt!

Twas the Night Before Christmas
I love Christmas Eve, but every year it comes and goes so quickly, and I don't feel like I get the good out of it. This year my parents took the boys to see Walking with Dinosaurs, and I had planned to stay home to watch a Christmas movie and to wrap, but I went out and did some last minute shopping, and had to stay up till 12 to get it all done.
However, the boys and I got home around 2 and made cookies for Santa and reindeer food. Phillip cooked a great meal and after dinner the boys opened gifts from Mimi and Pop Pop! They could hardly contain themselves; there is no way they would've waited till Christmas morning. We ended the evening by tracking Santa, feeding the reindeer, and by reading Twas the Night Before Christmas. Then my parents and I watched It's a Wonderful Life while I wrapped. Next year, I vow to finish my shopping before Christmas Eve and to wrap everything beforehand. I was still wrapping Christmas day to get my nieces and nephews gifts together. Ugh.
