Back at the Ballfield

So, we've been spending a lot of time at the ball field lately, and with three boys, I guess we better get used to it. It is starting to be more enjoyable too because one the weather is nice and two Landon is playing the entire game with the exception of coming to hang out with Levi and me while his team is in the dugout.

Church Easter Party

Lofton and Micah warming up for Chubby Bunny

Bunny says Dance!

We had our church Easter party last Sunday. The kids had a lot of fun. The weather was perfect.

Party Time!

For Landon's 4th birthday, we celebrated Luigi style. Landon and Lofton both love the Mario Brothers, and Landon's favorite one is Luigi. We played pin the mustache on Luigi and had a Yoshi egg hunt. Landon had a great time and got some great gifts.

Landon is 4

Landon, at four you...
-don't like to pose for pictures. You make the funniest faces and scream "cheese" until I stop.
-are still our little Linus; you love your "blaneks"
-love Justin Beiber's song "Never Say Never." You say it is awesome, and you dance Kung Fu style to it.
-love to collect sticks. We find them everywhere- in the car, in the stroller, in the garage, and even in the house.
-like to do Kung Fu
-are afraid of people dressed as animals/things like Chuck E Cheese, but you surprised is this year when you stood by the Easter bunny and didn't shed a tear.
-love Luigi
-always say, "Is that right?"
-love video games (your DS and the Wii)
-like the show Jake and the Neverland Pirates
-will do about anything for chocolate (even attempt to eat veggies)
-love our Wednesday night Bible class, which makes mommy feel good since I am the teacher, but I think you like it cause we make snacks and play outside.
-are a great brother. You cry most mornings when Lofton leaves for school, but you entertain Levi throughout the day. Levi just sits and laughs at you.
-have a great memory. I tell stories each night and they're always to be continued. You never forget the next night to tell me what happened the night before.
-tell us you love us all the time and give the best kisses and hugs.
-are growing up way too quickly!!! We love you, Landy Pandy Bear!

Good Friends, Good Fun, and Good Food!

A couple of Sundays ago, our church had its Friends and Family day so it was the perftect day to invite our friends who are like family (and who used to go to church with us) up for the day. But, we all skipped out on the church potluck and came home to partake of Phillip's good cooking. Phillip didn't disappoint; the meal was delicious. The kids (big and small) enjoyed a beautiful warm day playing in the yard. We even broke out the redneck water park; a tradition we've enjoyed together many times. I am so glad that we all got together especially because we spent the afternoon planning a couple's getaway that we've already booked. Soon we'll have good fun and good food in Vegas with good friends!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame...

or in Landon's case, take me out OF the ballgame. Well, the first game was cold and rainy so Landon played an inning before coming to sit with me in the car. The second game he couldn't play because of his allergies; his eye was swollen. But, this last game, he played the entire time and had a hit. He got himself out because as he was running to base, he bent down and picked up the ball. It was cute and funny; I wish I had my video camera with me. The coach gave him the game ball for playing the entire game and for his batting, and now he is a little more excited about it. Lofton loves baseball however, and he is doing great. He has had some great hits and forced outs. We are proud of both of our little Giants.

Spring Break 2011

We went with our friends the Griffins to Branson for Lofton's spring break. We first stopped at Amy's mom and dad's to spend the night, and Larry and Sona kept the kids while Jonathan, Amy, Phillip, and I ate our weight in food at Patty's. Then we got up the next day and traveled to Branson to meet Jonathan's family. We first stopped at the biggest Bass Pro Shop where Phillip was in heaven. We stayed at a great resort that reminded me of Dirty Dancing called Big Cedar Lodge. It was a relaxing couple of days; the boys enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tubs. We had a great time with friends.

Levi stayed home with Mimi and had a great time having her undivided attention. When we got home, he was spoiled rotten and crawling!
