Jamaica

Jamaica trip 2026 is one I’ll never ever forget

That is for sure, so against me do not bet

This year there were too many close calls

And wonderful moments were made by us all

But I still wanted to write an ode of our amazing trip

In case over the years, the memories do slip

To start the trip, a seat for Ty there was not

Even though in November, twenty seats we bought

But David took one for the team and stayed behind

And did it again one day during lunch bc he’s so kind

We got in trouble for our white Jesus toys

As they offended the pot smoking “Christian” boy

Levi got “robbed” of $2000 dollars

Even though for help Bradley did holler

Anne Michael apparently did pass the test

When offered a fake joint just in jest

This year, I spilled all the paint, not Kate

But she and Mrs Boyd helped clean it up great

Sophia shared her juicy patty with her friend Shaquille

And Nicholas ate sweet potato pudding for many meals

Levi did not have much luck with nails on the ground

Two different days, his feet the rusty nails found

Madelyn said giving the kids the bouncy balls was a mistake

Because bruises on you all, they did unfortunately make

Instead of water, Alana gave Enyia a chubby

And Rushando ran around naked for all to see

I am proud of our early morning 5:30 crew

But as the day went on, grumpy some of ya’ll grew

Matt and Phillip drove us around Jamaica like Mario Kart

But the splash from the puddle, the women could not dart

On the way to Portland, the contents of Bradley’s stomach were gone

But later that night, he rallied and hit the Kwan

We tried but never did find one foot Leroy

To detour us may have been Rachel’s aunt’s ploy

I’ve made three years of memories with Landon, Cole and Cooper

You three will be hard to replace bc your skills are super

Finally, Tanjie and Demani helped saved the day

Getting Oliver on the plane, they made the way

At the end of the day, everything fortunately worked out

But with God’s help, do we really ever have to doubt?

I pray this trip taught you there’s no giant that can’t be beat

Because with God’s provision all things you can defeat

In four days, you put a roof over Long Man’s head

And even took the time to build him his own bed

Never forget no act of kindness is too small

And always let your light shine for all!

Remember that the good for others you do

Will always find its way back to you! (Luke 6:38)

One Love. One Mission!
