Every summer, my friends go to the beach. I have never gone because Phillip was always so busy in July with Titans camp, and the boys were little, so it made going difficult. I also stressed about going right before school started. This year, I decided that boys are older and Phillip would be home more, so I bit the bullet and went. I am so glad that I did. Though coming back on Sunday and going to work on Monday was rough, it was nice to hang on to summer till the last possible second. I hadn't been on a girls' trip since I went to NY with Julie. It was a much needed break, and it was so much fun- except for when I almost got hit by a truck on my bike ride with Joni. :)
