It’s kinda a running joke that if I or Greg Cotten coaches a team that kids will join, so when we needed a tennis coach this year, Carter and Lynn begged me. I know zero about tennis but with Covid hurting Phillip’s business I decided to help Anne Marie “coach.” Of course, 26 girls tried out, but we kept 12 and had a lot of fun and learned a lot. It was tough bc Lofton runs track in the spring, but I still got to go to a few track meets and cheer him on. He runs 400 and even jumped this year. He also runs some relays. He seems to like track, and he did well till his hip gave him some issues.
