A Totality Cool Day

For months before school started, the total solar eclipse was all the buzz.  Schools were debating closing, which most did with the exception of Goodpasture.  So, unfortunately, we had to go to school on eclipse day.  I wasn't really looking forward to any of it.  I didn't see the big deal; it was gonna get dark for three minutes during the day, but boy was I wrong.  It was such an awesome experience.  Levi and Landon got to stay home with Daddy and Uncle Charles who had come up for the eclipse, but Lofton wanted to go to school with me, so we watched it at school.

Mrs. Heintzman and I are just alike- we enjoy the sun whenever we can get it.

Everyone's shadows were so tiny!
