A New Christmas Tradition
Our neighbors, Brooke and Rob, brought the boys Gingerbread houses and all the candy to put on them. We have never done them before, but the boys loved doing them. They spent over an hour working on them. They enjoyed it so much. Then they woke up the next morning to find that Yogurt had made one, too.
Zoopendous Day for the Zoo
We met Julie and her crew on December 20th (a beautiful 66 degree day) at the zoo. Granny sent the boys money to renew our membership. It was great day, and I am so glad we spent the entire day outside at the zoo cause the next day was freezing, and it's been that way ever since.
Boys' Christmas Parties
Lofton's class Christmas party was the Wednesday before Christmas and Landon's was Thursday. Lofton's class did a Christmas around the world party and ate foods from other countries. They filled shoes with presents, played driedel, and made firecrackers with gifts in them.
Landon's party was a Polar Express party. They wore their pjs (well Landon didn't cause he said he'd be embarrassed). They made gingerbread houses, exchanged books, and they rode the Polar Express! Both boys had a great time!

My Birthday
For my 29th birthday :) Phillip cooked a fabulous meal (steak, baked potatoes, a great salad, and my favorite, banana cake.) The boys and I celebrated, but they weren't too happy about my choice of cake!
Then two days later, Julie took me to Aerosmith. She and I have already seen them at least four times together, but those old guys still have it. We also spent the night at the Hilton and went to lunch and shopping the next day! It was so much fun. I'm going to have to make that a yearly tradition.
Landon's School Program
Landon missed his Thanksgiving school program due to strep, and I unfortunately had to miss his Christmas program due to my bday celebration with Julie that had been planned since October. But, my mom and Phillip and boys were there to represent. They said he did great.
Finally...
We have a kid who isn't so picky! The boys spent the night with Micah the other night, so Phillip picked up sushi for us, and Levi ate with us. He liked it and kept saying "Yum!"

He's Back!
Yogurt showed up the morning after we put up our tree, and though he did a lot of crazy things last year, he is up to some new antics! Here is a look of some of what he's been doing.
Dinner with Santa
Landon's preschool hosted dinner with Santa. Lofton spent the night with Jude, so we took Gabe. He and Landon had a great time, and they sat on Santa's lap and talked to him several times. Though we had talked about it all day, Levi caved and wouldn't go near Santa. He screamed, and we had to eat dinner in the back of the room farthest away from Santa. Tears aside, they all had a great time, and Landon even won a door prize!
