It's Actually Snowing
On Monday, November 25th, I heard Lofton say, "It's snowing and actually sticking!" It's a rarity around here, so we couldn't help but bundle up and go out in it for a few minutes despite the fact that Lofton has strep and it was getting dark. The boys loved it; it was Levi's first time to see snow, and he kept shouting, "Snowball fight!" It was precious.
Trimming the Tree
We trimmed the tree early this year. We've all been in the Christmas spirit this year. We have the week of Thanksgiving off of school, so I wanted to take advantage of the time and get my Christmas stuff up. We have a tradition every year to open an ornament the night we put up the tree. Each year I get the boys an ornament that kinda reminds me of them at the time. I got Landon a Minecraft sword; I got Levi a dinosaur since he was a dinosaur for Halloween by choice, and I got Lofton a baseball because he made All Stars this year.
Thanksgiving Program
The kindergarteners put on a sweet Thanksgiving program that brought tears to my eyes. Hearing those babies' sweet voices sing praises to God confirmed to me that I made the right decision to go back to work and to give my children the opportunity to go to a Christian school. Landon did such a great job; he did all of the motions and sang to the top of his lungs. After the program, he got to come with me back to my 8th block class.

Trick or Treat
We finally got to trick or treat two days after Halloween with our friends the Boyds, Tanner, and Conner. Marley even found a friend; he was a referee and he found a football while trick or treating through the neighborhood. As soon as we got home, Levi and Landon dumped their candy and sorted through their loot.
