Country Roads, Take Me Home...

Watching Pop Pop

Pop Pop showing them how it is done!

Taking their turn

Gave up sledding and hit the playground

At the Marshall game

To the place I belong....West Virginia! We went home a couple of weeks ago when we woke up to a "snow" day. Lofton didn't have school, so we got to leave early, and he had Monday off for MLK day, so we got to spend quite a bit of time at home. The boys couldn't wait to get there cause they figured Mimi and Pop Pop would have more snow; however, they didn't get much either, but we took them out anyways. Sledding was a bust, so they just played at the park awhile.

We also got to go to the Marshall vs Central Florida game. Lofton thought it was pretty cool cause Michael Jordan's son played for CF. I have to admit that I thought it was pretty cool too.

It is always good to go home. We're already excited to go back.

Game On!

The boys' friend, Micah, had a Skylanders tournament last Saturday. It was so much fun. They took it very seriously of course, and Lofton came in fifth, and I am not sure what Landon placed, but they won a new Skylander- Stump Smash, so they walked away happy.

So Proud

Mimi came for a week to visit recently, and she took the boys to Chuck E Cheese one night. Landon put a token in a fishing game and hit the jack pot. He won 125 tickets, and he proudly walked around showing everyone and singing, "I got 125 tickets!"

Boy- a noise with dirt on it!

Levi spent about an hour playing in the rocks and sand the other day. He threw the biggest fit when I took him in!

The day a boy becomes a man is the day he shoots his first buck! - Cheyenne Aker

Lofton got to go deer hunting for the first time a few weeks ago, and though he nor his dad shot a deer, they had a great time.
