Celebrating Jonathan's Birthday

A group of us went on a walking ghost tour of downtown Nashville for Jonathan's birthday, and then we went to dinner at Taco Mamacitas! It was a fun night out with friends!

Turkey Days at School

Levi and I joined Lofton at his school Thanksgiving lunch. Of course, we passed on the meal. Levi had a great time socializing. Landon had strep and couldn't attend his Thanksgiving program. But, he did make his Harry Potter turkey for school, which turned out so cute.

Boys' Annual Hunting Weekend

The boys went to Missouri for their 3rd annual hunting trip to Pop's house with Jonathan and Jude. They of course had a great time, and Lofton got himself a squirrel, and Phillip got his first deer. Levi, Landon and I had a fun weekend too. We watched Free Willy one night and played games. Landon McAfee spent the night with Landon too, so he had a great time. And, since Landon didn't get to go (he doesn't get to till he is in kindergarten, Daddy left Landon a surprise on his pillow!

Trick or Treat

We went to the Griffins for some good fun and good trick or treat fun on Halloween night. This year for Halloween Landon was a gold Power Ranger, Lofton was a skeleton motorcycle rider, and Levi was a train conductor. It was Levi's second time to trick or treat and the first time he actually really knew what was going on. I took him to about 10 houses, and he said trick or treat at each one and thank you before grabbing the candy out of his bucket to see what he'd scored. He had a great time, and the boys had a lot of fun running around trick or treating with their buddies.

Halloween Parties

On Halloween day, we enjoyed two Halloween parties. First, we went to the library for Halloween story time. Then we immediately went to Landon's preschool party. It was a great party and last 2 hours. Levi even got to join in the fun. Terri included him in everything, and he loved every minute of it. It was a great way to kick off Halloween.

Pumpkin Carving

I am proud to say that I helped boys carve all of their pumpkins this year. They did a lot of the design work in which you punch holes through the pattern. I then helped them carve their pumpkins. Landon carved two this year (a werewolf and Frankenstein) and Lofton carved one spooky faced pumpkin. Levi did his all by himself. All I had to do for him was clean off all the paint from his hair, hands, stomach, and clothes.
