Church Fall Festival
Our youth group and children's group had a fall festival at the Clemons' farm this year. The kids had a great time especially Levi. He was in hog heaven with all the chicks, roosters, and goats. He loves farm animals. Luckily, others were willing to take him back and forth to the barn so I didn't have to spend all of my time there.
The boys also had fun playing games, making smores, riding on the hay ride, and carving pumpkins... well, Lofton worked on his pumpkin, Landon convinced Travis to de-gut his, and it was so cold out, we brought them home and finished them on Sunday!
Lofton's Halloween Party
I signed up to plan Lofton's class Halloween party, and though I stressed about it for days, everything went off without a hitch, and I think the kids had fun. I decided on icecream sundaes with lots of Halloween candy to top. Of course, some moms sent other things, but lots got thrown away like I had figured it would. Kids are always too excited to eat no matter what kind of junk you put in front of them.
We played pumpkin bowling, eyball toss, candy corn relay, and we made popcorn monster hands. Landon and Levi had fun helping, eating candy, and cheering on the kids at each game station.

Cheekwood
We had a week of 80 degree days in October, and we took full advantage of them. We of course, played outside, rode bikes on Greenway, went to creek, played at park, and one day we hit up Cheekwood with Julie and Tiffany. It was a great day for it. The boys loved the trains and scarecrows. I enjoyed the beautiful flowers and ponds.

Pumpkin Farm
One of our fall traditions is to visit a pumpkin farm. We had a great time; Levi really enjoyed all the animals. We all loved the corn popper (giant bouncy thing). It was a great day.
Landon's Pumpkin
Landon's preschool class has a pumpkin decorating contest every year. He decorated his to look like a Ninja. He won "Scariest Pumpkin", which is what he was going for. He originally wanted to make a zombie but I wouldn't let him. We decided the Ninja was scary enough.
