Bible Bowl

This was Lofton's second year to participate in Bible Bowl, and once again, he loved every bit of it. This year he studied I Samuel. I am so proud of him for working so hard and for learning more of God's Word. He and I once again had fun spending the weekend together in Cookeville.

Fall Baseball

Lofton is playing on the Texas Rangers this fall. He is getting to play pitcher. He is doing great. Last Saturday, he got the game ball for getting all 3 outs in one inning and getting a hit every time up to bat. He is doing great!

Backwards Day

Landon is loving preK. The other day was backwards day, and he had the bright idea of wearing his Gryffindor shirt with the tie. It was such a cute idea. He also went all out and wore his backpack and jacket backwards as we were walking in.

Sounds Game

Julie got Lofton and the rest of us tickets to the Sounds game for Lofton's birthday, and the best part is that we got to go with Julie, Matt, and their crew! Lofton loved every minute of it. He spent most of the game standing with his glove trying to catch a ball. Landon and Levi loved the snacks. It was a fun night at the ball park! Playing in the Rain

One of our favorite things to do in the summer is to play in the rain. The other day we had a perfect summer storm and Landon and Levi took full advantage of it.

Bug Bros

One beautiful Saturday afternoon, the boys worked their tails off digging in the yard looking for bugs. After quite awhile of digging, Lofton got the brilliant idea to sell bugs. After all, that's what little boys are made up snips, snails, and puppy dog tails. So, they made a sign, collected lots of bugs, and set them up a store. They made about $8 over the weekend (they were open two days), and they only actually sold about 4 bugs out of their inventory. It was a lot of fun, and they made a lasting memory.
