Pumpkin Farm

I forgot to take my camera to the Pumpkin Farm this year, so I got only a few pics on my phone. The boys as always had a great time, and Levi especially loved the corn box and the animals. We had corn everywhere for a few days. I am surprised I didn't make popcorn in the dryer one day; when I opened it about 10 pieces of corn was in it.

Protecting His Own

Landon and I made cookies one day, and when I went to wash my hands, I came back to find him making sure he got the ones he wanted.

A Day at the Zoo

We didn't go to the zoo at all this summer because of Levi being so little but mainly because of the heat. So, Julie, Becky, and I met there one day recently after I picked Lofton up from school. It was a great time to go; the zoo wasn't crowded and the animals were up and at 'em more than they ever are. It was a perfect day with perfect weather and great friends.

Levi LOVES Vandy

Our neighbors have a golden lab named Vandy (their Vanderbilt fans), and Levi loves him. We walk to their house multiple times a day to play with him, and if he isn't out, Levi will go in and get him. When I take him home, Levi will throw a fit and has been known to object by lying down in the middle of the road!

Bible Bowl

Lofton participated in Bible Bowl all summer, and his hard work and studying paid off in September when we went to Bible Bowl in Cookeville. It was a great weekend. Lofton and I went with Becky, Brett, and Reece Boyd; we spent the night on Friday night. We had fun in our hotel reading books and playing Uno. I enjoyed spending some time with just Lofton cause I don't get that much anymore. The actual Bible Bowl was fun; he did a great job and had a great time. He can't wait till next year.
