Christmas Play
The kids at church put on a Christmas play this year. Lofton was a shepherd; he was so excited and so proud of himself. It brought back memories of when my brother was a shepherd and when another shepherd stepped on his robe, my brother got him with his staff! :) Luckily, there were no mishaps in this play.

The Adventures of Yogurt, the elf
Christmas Eve morning (Yogurt's last day), he darned an apron and set out stuff for pancakes
Yogurt grabbed his sleeping bag and joined the sleepover
Fishing
Cheering Lofton on for his first game
Hiding in the poinsetta with a poinsetta hat!
Yogurt made himself a stocking
Sporting his own ball cap and hanging on the boys' hat rack!
Helping us count down the days with our kindness calendar
Yogurt made himself a tent like the boys' tent.
He's topping the boys' Christmas tree along side MJ!
He brought the boys new Christmas books!
Chillin with the Penguins of Madagascar
Yogurt had some fun with the dry erase marker!
Yogurt made and ate breakfast
Yogurt made a marshmallow snowman in the pantry
Yogurt drew a Santa beard & hat on bathroom mirror so it'd look like boys were Santa!
We have had our elf, Yogurt since 2008, and he has obviously ran out of hiding places, so this year he has changed things up a bit. Of course, not every morning is as good as others, but here is a look at some of his best. (I'll keep adding pics to this post) My favorite has been the snowman/donut breakfast cause I loved waking up to the sound of Lofton talking to Yogurt and going in the kitchen to find Lofton sitting at the table eating breakfast with Yogurt. He's also been spotted playing Wii, reading books with Levi's dog, and riding around in the Batmobile!

2011 Ornaments
Every year I get the boys an ornament that I give to them when we put up our tree. And each year, I want the ornament to symbolize something they like to remind me/us of what they were in to each year. This year I got Lofton a basketball ornament since it is his first year to play basketball, and I made Landon's ornament- a golden Snitch to remind us of his love for Harry Potter.
Thanksgiving
For the first time since Lofton's first Thanksgiving, our entire family got together for Thanksgiving dinner. It was so nice getting to see everyone; I really enjoyed watching the boys play with their cousins. It brought back wonderful memories of many Thanksgivings when I was little and got to hang out all day with my cousins, which was the best part of any holiday.
The entire extended weekend was so much fun. I kicked it off by running in my first 5K. I ran it in 27 mins. And, mom and I of course shopped on Black Friday. We spent the rest of the weekend just hanging out. We have a lot to be thankful for.
