Flat Stanley

My friend Becky Welch, who teaches third grade, is doing the Flat Stanley project with her class. I offered to take Flat Stanley cause I thought it would be a fun project for Landon who stays home with me all day. So, today, we took Flat Stanley on his first adventure to Baptist Sports Park. On the way there I asked Landon if he understood what Flat Stanley is, and he said, "Yeah, he is a piece of paper." But, that piece of paper got him extra special treatment at the Titans. Everyone out there is always nice to us when we show up to eat a good meal, but today, Rob Bironas came back to breakfast before meetings just to have his pic made with Landon and Stanley, and when Landon took him to the locker room, he got to put on some of the guys' uniforms! I love the last pic of him in the helmet; his face is priceless.

Keep checking for more adventures. We plan to maybe take Stanley to the Ryman, the Parthenon, and maybe the Batman building. But, if Landon has his way, we're going to take him to Harry Potter World at Universal.

Uh Oh Spaghetti O

Levi really enjoyed his spaghetti the other night.

The Art of Shaving

I heard Lofton crying the other day while he was in the shower, and when I went to check on him, I learned that he knew what to do with a razor just not how to do it. He's gonna need a few lessons before he hits puberty!

Homework, Oh, Homework...

The words of Shel Silverstein, "Homework, Oh, Homework, I hate you; you stink" pretty much ring true with Lofton. He spends more time complaining about doing homework than he actually spends on it. However, Landon just jumps right up to the table when I tell him we are going to work on "school", and Levi just finds things to occupy his time during homework time such as rearranging my pantry. :)

Landon's 1st Soccer Game

Landon is finally playing soccer; he has wanted to so badly for awhile now, I couldn't let another season pass without him playing. His team won their first game! He was so excited. It was so fun watching him play.
