We try to go canoeing every summer; this year we got it in right after school started. We went with our church friends. It was a beautiful day on the river with friends.

Lofton's Last First Day of School
I am not ready for this. It seems like no time ago, I was dropping Lofton off at his first day of kindergarten. I was so worried I wouldn't get to take him because I was worried I would be at the hospital with Levi. Now, here we are 12 years later -- his last first day.

Dungeons and Dragons & Movie Day
Marilyn got Levi for two nights this summer. Since they moved to Murfreesboro, we don't see them as often, and Levi really misses Heath, so this weekend was special. Thursday night it was just the two of them; Friday night, some of Heath's friends joined them for a Dungeons and Dragons party. Levi enjoyed the game a lot. Then Saturday, I met Marilyn at Boro at the Beach and enjoyed spending time with her.
To wrap up summer, we went to the Minion movie and lunch with friends.
