My Kind of Trip to Chaperone

Our youth group went to Destin Memorial Day weekend.  I got to chaperone.  It was a fun little get away; nothing beats a day on the beach.  I enjoyed walking each morning and being with my kids.  It was a quick trip, but it was the best way to start the summer.

Memorial Day- Flag Placement Ceremony/ Weekend in West Virginia

Levi spent the night with Sawyer Memorial Day weekend because I went as a chaperone to the beach with our youth group.  Tammy took them to see a movie- the first in a long time for Levi because of Covid, and then they went to their Cub Scout flag placement ceremony at the veteran's cemetery in Madison.  I hate that I missed it this year.  This event is so special, and I am so glad that Levi gets to participate in it.

Then Levi got to go spend the week at Mimi and Pop Pop's since we were at beach with the youth group.

Kickin off Summer

John Mayer said, "Cause a little bit of summer is what the whole year is about."  We love summer, and we kick it off with some of our faves- the skate park, strawberry pickin, ice cream after church, playground, and play dates.

Ella's Graduation Party

Our sweet Ella Bean graduated from high school.  I remember the day I met Amy; she was very pregnant with Ella.  That day started a wonderful friendship that has turned more into family.  We are so excited for her and proud of her.  She is going to Lipscomb, so she will be close.
