Cabin Fever - Ringing in 2022

Our ninth annual trip to Dale Hollow Lake with our friends was not the same without our fearless leaders- Joni and Larry who had Covid.  However, we went anyway and tried our best to keep the memories alive.  The traditions we create now are the memories our children will cherish in the future.  Our weekend started off at 70 degrees and ended at 30 degrees.  Memories this year include hiking, eating, playing Empire, "gambling", competing in a puzzle competition, polar plunging and sledding.  

 

Twas the Day After Christmas

 

We celebrated the holiday with the McConnells the day after Christmas at Charles and Jennifer's.  Charles made a delicious brunch, and we enjoyed time with family and a game of Dirty Santa.  It was a great day- especially since it had been two years since we got together with the McConnells- last year was the bombing and  Chad had to work, and the year before Lyman had the flu.  We can't let anymore Christmases go past without getting together with our family.
