Levi participated in the flag placement ceremony on Memorial Day for the Veteran's cemetery in Nashville. It was such a moving experience. Freedom isn't free, and we are so blessed to have participated in it with our Cub Scout troop.

Off to a Berry Good Start
One of our favorite traditions is going to pick fresh strawberries. This year, Levi and I decided we could make Granny's strawberry pie. The crust wasn't nearly as good as hers, but we think we got the filling just like hers. The taste brought back great memories.

Levi loved Cub Scouts and ended his year with a nice ceremony where he received his badges that he earned. He's moving on to be a bear!
Cub Scout Campout Take 2
Levi's second camp out for Cub Scouts fell at a time when Phillip had to work, so I had to step in and step up. Thankfully, Lofton went with us. Lofton was a huge help; I couldn't have done it without him. It was a relaxing time. Defeated Creek Camp Ground is awesome. The boys loved riding their bikes through the campground.
