A Berry Good Way to Start Summer

We went to Bottom View farm and picked strawberries, then I shocked us all when I made my Granny's strawberry pie!  :) 

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, Julie and I went to Green Hills Grille and shopped on Saturday before Mother's Day.  On Sunday, after church, Lofton asked me to go to Sonic.  He got out of car and went and ordered me my favorite drink and paid for it himself.  Then we went home, ate and laid by the pool.  The boys got me a pool float for Mother's Day- they know me well.  It was a relaxing and special day.  I am one blessed momma of three wonderful boys.  

Root Root Root for the Home Team

Landon decided to play baseball this season.  He played for the NY Yankees.  I was surprised at how much he enjoyed playing-when it wasn't freezing outside.  It was fun to watch him.  We lived at the ballfields this season, but it was fun. 

Flippin' Fantastic

Every six months or so Charles Harding rewards the boys' with medals for all they've accomplished in gymnastics.  

Fun Day

Mr. Ehlert hands down does the best field day ever.  The boys look forward to it all year.  I am fortunate enough to get to go outside with them for awhile.  This year was the oatmeal fight with the 4th grade.  Landon surprisingly participated.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Lofton tried out and made the 7th & 8th grade baseball team this year.  We are very proud of him for this accomplishment.  He did well and played 2nd, 3rd, and outfield.  One of his first games he scored one of the two runs by stealing bases; it is so fun to watch him play.  Overall, the Cougars did well and had a winning season and won their tournament.
