Mele Kalikimaka
Christmas day sure felt like Christmas in Hawaii it was so warm and sunny. For some reason, I didn't get many presents of boys opening gifts, but we were kinda rushed since Christmas fell on a Sunday and we had to go to church. After church, we came home and had another wonderful meal, and then since Lofton got a lot of fishing stuff for Christmas, the boys fished and we walked in the woods and Pop Pop hung up their new swing. As much as Id have rather sat by the fire and drink hot chocolate, it was a nice day to go out and enjoy their gifts.
Twas the Night Before Christmas
Christmas Eve is my favorite! I've always loved it. I loved to hang out all day with my granny when I was little and then having dinner with my cousins. Now, I try to carry on traditions with my kiddos. Levi and I started the day making cookies for neighbors. Then the boys couldn't wait to open gifts from Mimi and Pop Pop. We then had a great dinner and made cookies for Santa. We watched a Christmas movie, put our reindeer dust, read the Night Before Christmas, and the boys all slept together in the same room. These days are so special- they are the best gift of all.
