Twas the Night Before the NIght Before Christmas

My parents came down Monday, and we went to dinner and to see the light show at Jelly Stone Park. When we came home, mom tucked the boys in and read them the book Twas the Night Before the Night Before Christmas!

Waiting for Santa

We love going to see Santa. This year, Levi swore he wasn't going to sit on his lap, but when it came down to it, he did it, and even asked to do it again. I can't believe how much they've changed in to years. Last year we went to Opry Mills, but the year before we saw the same Santa in Green Hills and the boys sat in the same places on his lap. How cute is this pic?

Cousins!

Our cousins live in Cincinnati, so we don't get to see them too often. So, when they stopped by a few Saturdays ago, the boys had a great time playing with them. That night we also went to eat dinner and to see Santa with them. We couldn't be happier that they are moving back to Tennessee in a few weeks. Yay!

Lofton's Christmas Program

Lofton's Christmas program was more of a production! When the curtain rolled back, Phillip and I looked at each other in shock. We had only been to one program when Lofton went to public school, and it was cute, but this was a huge deal. I should've known when someone paid thousands of dollars for reserved seats at the auction for this play. :) It was great, and there was a video production before hand to accompany it. I've learned while at Goodpasture that they are on top of their game with video production. Overall, the program was very cute. It was very entertaining. We all had a great time.

My Birthday

Normally, we go to the Cheesecake Factory and to see Santa for my birthday celebration, but now that I am back to work, the last thing I wanted to do was go out after we got home. So, Phillip brought home sushi and cake, and we just hung out. It was perfect!

Thanksgiving

We always enjoy going home for Thanksgiving. It is so great to visit family. This year we got to see everyone. I ran in the turkey trot with Tiffany and Brooke, and then Granny spent Thanksgiving with us, and so did Dustin and Lyndsey and her family. We also got to go to Megan's birthday party and spend more time with Dustin and Lyndsey. Mom and I shopped as we always do on Black Friday. On Friday night, we went to Evaronies for Tommy's birthday, and everyone was there except for Micah. It was so great to see everyone. The boys had a great time with all of their cousins. I so wish we lived closer and they could see one another more often. Some of my greatest childhood memories are of the times I was with my cousins. However, we treasure the time we do get to spend with family. We couldn't have asked for a better Thanksgiving break. WE have a lot to be thankful for that is for sure.
