I made Zombie donuts for Lofton's class Halloween party, so when the boys woke up on Halloween morning, they got some for their breakfast. I love the pic of Landon sleeping at the table. Typical school morning! Lofton had to dress up as a book character and do a report. He chose Casey at Bat, but he wasn't happy with me for covering his All Star uniform with Mudville! He even covered it as he paraded through the high school. He was actually embarrassed of it, but he wore a spandex blue suit for Halloween. Go figure!
I was fortunate enough to take off of work to go with Landon on his first field trip to a pumpkin farm. It was freezing, and the kids asked several times to go back to school, but we had a good time despite the frigid temps.
I am proud to say that we didn't cheat this year when carving pumpkins! We didn't use the tracing kit. The boys drew their designs, and I carved them out. This year we had a creeper and a Vandy pride pumpkin!
We go to the pumpkin farm every year, and this year we couldn't have picked a better day. It was so warm and sunny. Phillip and Lofton went to the Titans game, and we missed them, but if we didn't squeeze it in, we may not have gotten to go this year. Lofton did get to go to the pumpkin farm with his class. I am really glad that Levi didn't miss out on it because he loved it. He loved the animals, and he loved riding the ponies.
