Buddies

We have been enjoying this wonderful weather and our buddies. And, Levi has a new buddy, our new neighbor, Jayden! He asks the minute he wakes up if he knock on Jayden's door. They are cute together.

Art Fair

For Lofton's art fair, he wanted to make something MineCraft. He wanted to make a diorama, but since we didn't have much time, I talked him in to a Creeper mosaic. It turned out cute; he was really proud of it. Landon made one too that was great. Levi had fun gluing the paper to the table and his coloring book!

6 year check up

I got a good laugh at Landon's expense at his 6 year check up. When the nurse told him to strip down to his undies and that he could put a sheet over him while he waited on Dr. Keith, he got a sick look on his face. When she left the room, he started crying. I thought he was just embarrassed because he is pretty modest, but it turned out that in pure Landon fashion he was crying because he couldn't strip down to his undies cause he wasn't wearing any! I shouldn't have been surprised. He never wears them. I bet he'll think twice now though.

Train up a Child

Proverbs 22:6 says to "train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." We are so proud of the young man Lofton is growing up to be. He was recently asked to read scripture on a Sunday night at church, and he didn't hesitate. And, since he was involved in worship, he took much more of an interest in the entire service. We couldn't be happier that he loves the Lord with all his heart and that he is willing to express it to others.

Jimmy Buffet

I surprised Phillip on our anniversary with tickets to Jimmy Buffet. He usually tries to spoil all surprises, but I got him this time cause he thought we were going to see Duck Dynasty at Lipscomb. It was a great night, and we got to spend it with our matchmaker, Julie!

Spring Baseball

It's that time of year again!! Baseball is back in full swing! Both boys are playing, and Phillip is coaching both. He's the head of Landon's team, the Cardinals, and he's assisting Lofton's team, the Reds. Both boys are doing great, and Landon this year is really enjoying it. He looks forward to the games. (I'm gonna just update this post with pics and info througout the season, so stay posted.)

Party Time!

Landon had a Minecraft Slumber Party, and I am happy to say that all (including myself) survived!
