Kurt got inducted into Watertown Hall of Fame, so Phillip went and hung out with Kurt and John Paul.
Be the Light 5K
Back in May, Jane Anne asked me to be on a team of women who would plan a JG 5K in her memory. Of course, I had to be a part of it. It was a great success. They raised so much money.
Levi’s 15th Birthday
Levi, at 15 years old you are such a joy. You are hilarious. You are sharp and quick witted. You have a great relationship with God. You are a good brother and friend. You love spicy rice at the Japanese house. You are not a picky eater at all, which is so nice. You are thoughtful and always thinking of others. You are a good worker and always quick to lend a hand. I love spending time with you. Now that Lofton is gone and Landon drives to school a lot, it is just you and me on the way to school. I cherish that time listening to music and playing $1000 minute. We are so proud of you and know that you will do big things with your life and even bigger things for God's Kingdom.
Soaking Up Time With Lofton
Summer flies by, and the last couple days with Lofton always make me sad. I just want to spend time with him however I can. So, I ended up riding around in a golf cart with him while he and the boys played golf. We also went and played games at Dave and Busters with Griffins and went to dinner the night before the boys left for school. I love that Lofton is thriving and living his best life and living the life I know God has planned for him, but I can't help but miss him so much when he is away. I am proud of him though and love that prayers have been answered. I know God is directing Lofton's paths.
