Saddled for His Service/ Branded for His Glory

Lofton couldn't wait for this year's VBS cause it was a Western theme, and he wanted to wear his "real" cowboy hat. Landon said since I am in charge of VBS (really I am just the children's ministry coordinator) that next year he wants me to do a pirate theme so he can dress like Captain Jack Sparrow.

Playing in the puddles

After dinner the other day, we walked outside with intentions of going to the park, but the sky fell out about the time we were walking out of the garage. The boys decided it would be just as much fun to play in the puddles and the rain. Levi even joined in on the fun. He crawled out to see what all the fuss was about, and he realized right away that playing in the rain is fun. He would cry and would crawl right back out as soon as I would try to bring him back in the garage.

Vegas Vacation

Fun on the Fourth

Once again, we celebrated the 4th at the Griffins with our friends the Harringtons, the Lockharts, the Ballards, and the Roses. As always, we had lots of food and lots of fun!
