The girls plus Jacey and Gabe

The kids minus Ella, Jude, Reesi, Brooks, Jenna, and Audie, (Did I leave anyone out?)

Party Crashers

On their way to crash the party!

Ella turned six on the fourth, and her birthday party was this past Saturday. The theme of her party was polka dots, and the main event was painting polka dots on finger nails; therefore, it was pretty much a girls' event. However, Amy told me to come on over, so I did; we couldn't pass up Chick-Fil-A. We didn't stay long. After a game of Twister and dinner, Lofton and Jude were being rather sneaky and climbing under the table where the girls were. They were laughing, and I knew that they were up to no good, so I took all of them- Lofton, Jude, and Landon- home with me, so Amy could paint nails in peace. Landon was actually not bad; he found him a spot at the girls' table and was rather enjoying himself. After I came home, the boys made sure I knew that they did not get a cupcake, so at about 9:00pm that night, I gave in and let Lofton and Landon enjoy theirs.

Oh' Christmas Tree

I get the boys an ornament every year, which I give to them when we put up our tree. Each year, I try to find an ornament that fits them for the year. Of course, I got Lofton a superhero- Batman; this is the second year that he was given a superhero; if I could have found a Wii remote it would have been more appropriate. I got Landon a Hungry Caterpillar ornament because he is such a book worm. The boys were excited about their first present. We all had a good time putting up our tree; well, maybe Phillip didn't so much. I had him rearrange our entire living room in the process, and I love it.

Tennessee's First Taste of Snow

Today, we got our first snow of the season, and it was your typical Tennessee snow- everyone got excited for nothing; it spit snow most of the morning, but there is nothing to show for it. However, Lofton, Reece, and Landon McAfee went outside for their first "taste" of snow before Lofton ran in announcing that it was cold! I purposely put him in crocks and no jacket hoping that I wouldn't have to join him any longer than for a picture! By the way, how sad is the pic; you can't even see the snow. It looks like their catching rain drops; I promise there was some consistency to it!

Thanksgiving Week

We (me, Lofton, and Landon) went to my mom and dad's the Saturday before Thanksgiving and stayed until the Sunday after Thanksgiivng. Phillip joined us on Wednesday night. We had a relaxing week just visiting family and Christmas shopping. Of course, I didn't get to see everyone that I wanted to, and I didn't get my shopping finished. It is amazing how quickly a week can go. Here is a look at our week

Uncle Billy (Dad's brother), Pop Pop and Lofton

My cousin Presley & Landon

The boys loved Mimi and Pop Pop's tub

My dad came home for lunch on day; and Landon helped him eat it

My grandfather used to always hunt Thanksgiving morning; well, Lofton, Phillip, my dad, and Landon took a walk in the woods Thanksgiving morning and Lofton took his sling shot hoping to shoot a squirrel

Going "hunting"

Lofton and I made the center piece

Wishbone Tug of War

Landon got the bigger half before Lofton traded him

While Lofton was enjoying his pumpkin pie, the Jonas Brothers were performing a half time show. Lofton jumped up and ran to the tv and started dancing. I thought it was funny, but it is even funnier that the pic I got shows a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader on the tv instead of a Jonas Brother, which I am sure makes his daddy proud.

Landon & Mimi on Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving day with Uncle Dustin

Pizza Party with my second cousins- Alex, Landon, Lofton, Benjamin,Abbey, Adrienne, Alaina, and Hannah

Landon's dance party with my second cousins!

Pop Pop and Lofton on their way to the Marshall game.

My Little Bruiser

Ok, so after finding my fourth picture in my fourth folder, I had to dig up the pictures of Lofton's identical cuts that happened a week apart.

The first injury to his left eye happened when he tripped while we were playing at Stacey Spivey's house and hit his head on her bottom deck step. I took him to the Dr. Keith's who glued his eye back.

His right eye injury is from the table incident, which I didn't take him to the doctor's for fear that I might have to meet with DCS.

.

Tagged!

So, I was tagged by Amy to :Go to your fourth picture folder and then go to the fourth picture in the folder. Write four things about the picture and then tag four other people. It's amazing what you'll find!!! And the winner is....

1. This is a picture of Lofton when he was nineteen months old sitting at his table that Aunt April bought him for Christmas.
2. He has a lot more hair than Landon does right now at 19 months old.
3. A few months after this picture was taken, he was at this table coloring and somehow fell out and hit his eye on the corner. He busted it right above the eyebrow, and ironically, his other eye looked exactly the same from a previous incident. I'll dig that picture up, too.
4. It is amazing how quickly time goes.
I tag Joni(who has now been tagged twice), Becky Welch, Jennifer McConnell, and Jana.
